A wonderful place to spend time with your family and children. A huge, well-kept area for walking and meeting different animals. Giraffes are a special favourite of ours, and we fed them.
We bought some carrots and lettuce leaves at the entrance for 5 dirhams, and they arranged a small photo session for us. Afterwards, we decided to take a walk around the grounds. It was very hot outside, around 35 degrees, and it was 31 March, but in Dubai, everything is designed with this in mind, and there are misters with cool water throughout the grounds.
Next, we ended up in the Explore Park, and of course, it was WOW. We got on an air-conditioned bus, and the animals walked right next to us, looking in the windows. It was absolutely thrilling, and the children were so impressed, it’s impossible to describe.
It was completely different from the zoos we are used to seeing.
Tigers, lions, ostriches, deer, crocodiles, elephants and many more. All the animals are well cared for and live in such luxurious conditions, you can see that they are comfortable there.
We also visited the bird show, which was a complete delight, a breathtaking spectacle. There is definitely a lot to see in this park, and I definitely recommend visiting it. You and your children are guaranteed to have a great time.
