This is not my first time vacationing in the Emirates, and once you’ve visited all the well-known attractions, you want something new and interesting. So I chose the safari park. Dubai Safari Park is an amazing place that impresses with its scale and variety of animals. My visit left me with only positive impressions. How to get there?
I booked a tour from Sharjah at my hotel, which included transportation and four hours at the park. If you go on your own, you can take a taxi from Dubai, and local buses also run here frequently (several stopped at the bus stop).
Tickets can be purchased online or on site. The park is huge and allows you to see a huge number of animals from all over the world. From the African savannah to the Asian jungle, the exhibits are well thought out and realistic.
Some animals can be seen from a considerable distance, which creates the effect of being in their natural habitat. You can move between areas using different modes of transport. These include air-conditioned buses or a steam train with a warm breeze.
- The animals are kept in comfortable conditions.
- It is clear that attention is paid to the welfare of the animals.
- The safari takes place in an armoured bus. You can see the animals up close and they do not react much to visitors.
- The park is clean and well organised. Navigation is easy and the signs are clear.
- Tickets are not cheap, especially if you plan to visit all areas.
Dubai Safari Park is an excellent world-class zoo. Despite the high cost, it is worth a visit, especially if you love animals and want to see them in a relatively natural environment. I recommend planning a full-day visit to see everything and enjoy the atmosphere.
In summer, the heat can be exhausting, so plan your visit for the morning or evening. Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen and water. It is worth noting that visitors are well looked after here. There are many places where cooling areas have been created for particularly hot weather.
After visiting the park, stop by the souvenir shop. The prices are a bit high, but if you just want to take home a memento of this place, you’re sure to find something here.
